Those artists, along with MercyMe, Natalie Grant, Kirk Franklin, Point of Grace, the Fisk Jubilee Singers and the Booth Brothers, have all donated their time free of charge to help raise funds for the Gospel Music Association.
The GMA has been under considerable economic strain during the recession -- this month saw the departure of GMA president and CEO John W. Styll as what he called a “fiscally responsible” move in the group’s reorganization process.
Tickets to the event are $1,000 -- covering a $75 admission fee to the event and a tax-deductible donation of $925 to the GMA. Tickets are available by calling the GMA office at 242-0303 (ext. 238).
The concert takes place from 6-11 p.m. on Mon., Oct. 12 at the Loveless Barn (8400 Highway 100).
